Finished reading: 17 August 2011

Interest level: 9 – I’ve read this book once before, but it’s so good.  I am supposed to be reading Bel Canto right now (shhh, don’t tell Jeanna or Ashley), but I had to take a quick break to sneak this gem in.

Recommendation level: 10 – Great writing, great content, great character.  And heart breaking.

TTBR Synopsis: Mentally handicapped man receives experimental surgery to increase intelligence and “cure” him.  As his IQ grows, fissures appear in the hypothesis that gives him the opportunity to know the world as a genius.
